Janet Stack
Piedmont CASA Volunteer since 2010
My CASA teenager is currently in a residential treatment program which is not allowing visitors during the pandemic, but she is allowed one 10-minute phone call each day. She has called me almost every day since the shutdown began. I have reminded her that she is luckier than some in that she can still go to school every day, has other kids to interact with, and is also helping herself heal. Hopefully this will end up being a very productive time for her.
Because you can change a child's story.
