Alison Taravella
Piedmont CASA Volunteer Supervisor
My Volunteers are keeping the lights on for kids in residential treatment by writing letters back and forth when video or phone contact is limited or not possible. For children who are being schooled from home, CASA Volunteers ensure technology is sufficient and if it is not, they connect caregivers with appropriate school personnel. CASA Volunteers  encourage parents who are struggling with addiction and relapse that has been triggered by the isolation.
Because when we build strong children, we build a strong community.
